Equipment Distribution

Building opportunities with the right tools

No carpenter ever built a house using his or her bare hands. To build anything, a carpenter needs the right tools. Likewise, deaf and hard of hearing individuals need the right tools to build a successful life in a world where the majority of people can hear.

Deaf and hard of hearing individuals have access to these tools through a variety of publicly available programs, including communication devices, hearing aids, and telephones. CSD works with organizations such as the California Public Utilities Commission, the State of South Dakota Department of Human Services, the Alaska Regulatory Commission and the country of New Zealand   to administer the distribution of telecommunications equipment.

CSD leverages its close relationships in the Deaf and hard of hearing communities in a variety of states, as well as its extensive contact center, warehousing, and fulfillment capabilities to ensure that as many Deaf, hard of hearing, and speech impaired individuals are being reached by those programs as possible.

The CSD infrastructure allows for an efficient system of fulfillment in a variety of states, as well as a robust statistical reporting mechanism that ensures that state agency goals are continuously met, year after year.
