CSD Relay is a critical part of our mission to help Deaf and hard of hearing individuals realize their full potential.
CSD Relay is a telephone service that allows persons with hearing or speech disabilities to place and receive telephone calls. But beyond the technical definition, CSD Relay has created countless opportunities and enhanced the quality of life for hundreds of thousands of deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
Over the years, CSD has handled millions of minutes of interpretation services using a wide variety of equipment and services including Telecommunications Devices for the Deaf (TDD), Internet Protocol, Captioned Telephones, and Video. CSD’s experience and contributions have shaped policy development on TRS, and led to the introduction of new technologies. |
CSD Contact Centers employ hundreds of Communication Assistants (CAs) and utilize advanced Automatic Call Distribution technologies, billing, and reporting mechanisms. Having such a technologically advanced service allows CSD to focus on what makes our TRS offerings the best in the nation: Quality. CSD Relay currently serves 35 states, territories, and countries, either through a partnership with Sprint or as an independent service provider. |

CSD is proud to partner with Sprint Relay as a provider of Relay Services. Sprint Relay has contracts to provide Relay Services in over 30 states, and provides marketing services in those locations. CSD operates all contact centers and provides the actual service and user experience for Sprint Relay.
